These spraybooths are designed to meet ever increasing environmental standards. A continuous curtain of recirculating water is sprayed down the rear face of the booth. The glaze spray is aimed at the curtain of water and is encouraged by a powerful extraction fan. The excess glaze is trapped by the water curtain and washed into the sump tank, from where it can be removed. Glaze may be reclaimed, depending on the type. These booths are primarily designed to be used by the studio potter or educational faculties for low volume production. They do not require ducting to atmosphere, are mounted on castors and have removable washable filters, making them convenient apparatus for spraying glazes.
